I plan to write about research topics close to my interests. I would like to bridge, at least partially, the gap between the background an early-career researcher in geometric representation theory might reasonably be expected to have and recent developments in the areas that interest me.

I started this blog mainly because there are relatively few accessible introductions to some of the topics that appear in papers close to my interest, whether for PhD students and other early-career researchers or for mathematicians working in neighboring fields. Papers in these topics often involve terms such as “BPS cohomology,” “quasi-BPS categories,” “window categories,” “CoHAs,” or “stable envelopes.” I hope these posts will clarify these terms and that some readers will find them useful.

I will also write about research projects that interest me but on which I have made only partial progress, and also about open problems that I like. I may also post some of my notes from talks or brief reviews of recent papers that I think deserve to be more widely known beyond my immediate community.

I may also pretend to offer advice for students and early-career researchers, though I am afraid that I may no longer have anything useful to share. Eventually, I also hope to write about more serious topics, such as math and AI. But, as you can see, the first post is about none of these.
